IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING US IMPORTED ACCESSOIRES
With the recent drop in the value of Sterling, the price of US imported accessories such as landing gear, fiberglass accessoires, cowls and canopies, etc will be increasing. Please use site prices as a guide and email us for a firm price. We will endeavour to absorb as much of the increase as possible. Please note the price of Parts Sets is unaffected as these are produced by us in the UK. Our overseas customers will benefit as the cost of Parts Sets will be much cheaper to you. Normal delivery lead times for accessories is around 4-6 weeks up to 3 months from some suppliers. Please check with us.
Belair is a mail order business, and does not have any retail premises to visit.
Orders can be made by post, by telephone, or directly from this online shop. Our business hours are 9.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - OUTSIDE EU
International customers enjoy tax free sales. Our website prices include UK sales tax at 20% and this will be deducted from your invoice before we charge you. Our cart now deducts UK VAT, so export customers will see the final price before confirming order.
Our main UK mainland carrier is FEDEX. Some lighter/small items, may be sent by first class Recorded mail or Hermes Home Delivery.
Every day Belair ship dozens of parcels internationally using major reliable carriers, offering online tracking and full insurance. For International orders, we use either Fedex, UPS or DHL road depending on which is the most economical. We only charge you what the carrier charges us and the package will be routed the most economical way.
For European orders, we use DHL Euro Economy or UPS Truck Freight, which will be charged along with insurance at cost. International orders are generally shipped via UPS. Our cart does not calculate exact International shipping rates, giving you an approximate price only, however, we will contact you and confirm the price if vastly different from the website. Delivery times for most of Europe are around 7 days.
Most parcels require a signature on delivery, however if you are out at the time, a card will be left by the carrier. This will give a telephone number to call, so that another delivery attempt can be made or you may collect from the carrier's local office.
All orders are correctly packed before shipping, however if you believe that damage has occurred during transit, please SIGN accordingly on the delivery note. Please state that the package is "damaged or unexamined" If this record is not made, we are unable to make a claim against the carrier.If your package is damaged - Please call us immediately or within a maximum of 1 working day and we will arrange collection and re-delivery of the items.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Although our shopping cart for online orders takes your payment details, we do not charge at the time you order. We only charge when we are ready to ship. NO PAYMENT IS TAKEN AT TIME OF ORDERING unless the item is a special order, such as accessories or landing gear. For payment of UK goods, we can accept payment by Credit/Debit Card or Paypal for phone or online sales or by Personal Cheque for postal sales (please write cheque card number and address on reverse). With cheque payments, we can only ship goods on cheque clearance, which can take up to 7 working days. All internet orders are handled by secure server, which offers you the highest level of online anti-fraud security. Payment for trade cutting can be made by credit card, however there is a 2.3% bank fee. No charge is made for debit card payment. This only applies to trade orders. Please Note - Full payment is required on all accessories and Sierra/Robart landing gear, as Belair are unable to return these items once they have been ordered from the supplier. Trade Account Customers - overdue accounts are liable to interest at 15% above current UK base rate. Returned or cancelled cheques/DD/bacs are liable to a £50 charge per event.
Postal Orders Please send postal orders to Belair Digital, 86 HOLT RD, DEREHAM, NR20 5JS. International orders are welcomed, either by mail, phone or online. Payment is best made by Credit/Debit card. We sometimes require address and card verification for all International card orders, a copy of you ID card or credit card statement is sufficient. VAT registered EU customers, who supply a registration number can have goods sent less VAT, which can then be paid at point of importation.
What about returns? Should you not be happy with one of our standard Parts Sets, please call us and we will arrange a return (UK orders only) International customers are responsible for return carriage. We will refund the kit price, less any carriage charges, including collection charges. If the problem is a faulty part or one that needs adjusting, please call us, so we can send a replacement. The parts set must be unused and in the condition we sold it.
We are unable to accept returns or refunds on custom Parts Sets or custom accessories, such as Sierra, Robart scale retracts products, cockpit kits and glassfiber items. These terms also apply to custom one-off laser cut kits. All sales are final on these items. Once your order is placed, we cannot cancel if the items have been ordered or shipped from our US suppliers.
PLAN SALES - Please note plan sales are final, all plans are produced to order and cannot be returned. We do not offer an approval service on plans.
BACK ORDERS: Belair Kits do not operate a back order policy. If an accessory is out of stock, we will advise and offer you the options of waiting for the whole order to be completed or the item cancelled from the order.
PLEASE NOTE: International buyers outside of the EU may be liable for customs duties & taxes at their own expense. Please check the customs duties of your country before purchasing. Belair invoices and charges in Pounds Sterling, the final exchange rate to your country currency is determined by your bank or card company. Please note US Dollar (USD) and Euro (EUR) rates shown on our website are for guidance only and are approximate. Sterling is the currency you will be charged in.
