The plane has a 14 foot two piece wing with a 26" chord, fuselage length of 108" and weighs 42 lbs. Ready to fly. The wing area is 4368 sq. in. for a wing loading of approximately 22 oz. per sq. ft. The prototype was powered with a DA-100 swinging a 27x10 prop, but engines as small as the Zenoah GT80 would be fine. This is not a beginners plane, but anyone who has built a giant scale plane should have no problem. The wings are constructed using a building fixture made from scrap wood you have in your shop. The plane is covered in Ceconite and painted with Behr latex paint.
Your Belair parts set includes all the shaped balsa and plywood parts required to build the basic airframe and will save you many hours of tedious cutting.
Please note - plans are not included, available from accessory list.
